Location. Rooms were standard for Negril. The security guard was nice

Staff were terrible. Daughter was very sick and we needed a fridge for her insulin and they tried charging 12 US per night and was told its not that much money. Absolutely rude to judge what they think is not that much. Have never had to pay for a fridge in Jamaica in any hotel and I have been there 10 times. Fridges come as standard. One room the shower didn't work properly. Given one kettle between 2 rooms Key broke in the door when we were checking out They tried charging my card for something 2 days after checkout Had to put a deposit of 200US which was not stated on booking Overall the staff is what made the stay horrible not the hotel itself it was actually ok. If you're prepared to argue for basics then it is OK to stay

We had an excellent time at this lovely local hotel. We intend to return to this place.

Excellent location, family really enjoyed the well kept beach and staff made you feel comfortable. Room and bathroom was were clean. Although a little dated, I will be visiting again, no question. Both pools were great, but why go when we had the 7 mile wide Caribbean sea beside us.

Love this spot, however, the wifi is spotty. Kept dropping while on a conference call. $12/ day for a fridge?? No microwave. These are standard features for most hotels. Should reconsider this approach/ policy.

The buffet of breakfast and of the evening was very good. Thanks a lot to the waitress who was serving the breakfast, she was very kind, smiling and nice. Same thing for a few other waitresses.

Otherwise, everyone else weren't friendly at all, it looks like we were bothering them anytime we were asking for something, they were not kind at all, even a bit mean at some points. Some waiters/waitresses, even the lady at the reception, they were all not nice at all, not friendly and annoyed. Particularly the man who was taking care of the beach, being very rude and yelling at us saying that we were not nice at all. Don't recommend at all this place for the people who are working there.

the Jamaican people are my main reason for going to Negril. the beach, room and breakfast were wonderful. even the stray cats were fine.

Excellent and friendly staff- overall fantastic experience and would definitely stay there again.

The beach was perfect- staff out there very helpful and friendly. Crossing guard Caesar was very helpful, kind, and informational- outstanding. Dining staff Jackie was exceptional- she was so friendly and helpful at all times and just a joy to be around - Thank you, Jackie! Chef Jean was outstanding as a cook and a delight to see each day. Thank you! We had an absolutely amazing time at your resort. Thank you to all!

Nice place with some lack offs

Excellent location on the beach. Pools ok. Nice beach club. Room ok.

Had to pay for the mini fridge and wait for it long time. A/C dropped water inside the room. One of the lady at the front desk not very helpfull and even a bit rude. The others very polite and helpfull. Security, cleaning ladies and maintenance stuff very polite and helpfull. Price list at restaurant a bit unclear, you pay more for the drinks than it is on the list. And this is not because of the tax and service fee.

Pleasant

The lush vegetation and land scapping of the property. The courteous display by the staff especially the kitchen staff.

The facial expression of the bar staff especially while waiting for our bans. It was as if we didn't exist and at one point we canceled our order and left as they didn't explained to us that the ingredients to complete our order wasn't readily available and had us like sitting ducks. Room wasn't properly fitted with the requisite towels, had to call front desk.

Very comfortable bed, nice shower, cleaning ladies kept our room nice and clean, amazing location - just few steps to the beach and about 15min walk to city centre and several nice restaurants nearby. If you're coming with Knutsford Express bus, the bus stop is right next to the hotel.

The staff were fantastic! Wonderful warm greeting from Jennifer at reception, Jean the cook made the best omelettes and was always singing and had the best smile! And was so loving (she ran around from her post to hug us one morning!), Jennifer the server/bartender was so sweet and caring, Kenrick was like a friend who welcomed us into the restaurant and remembered our names, and Michael's territory was the beach... He'd set up the chairs and umbrellas and was very attentive moving vendors along if he thought they were bothering you. He seemed very serious most of the time but we got a huge smile out of him our last night!! All amazing people!! Location is perfect right on the beach, with strolling musicians stopping to serenade us during the day. The restaurant is open to the beach, and the rooms are big and comfortable with balconies. Lots of hot water with good pressure. We loved our beachside garden room... So tropical and quiet with nature sounds. Nice to be able to hear distant music at night from bands down the beach as we sat on our balcony. When we arrived we considered upgrading to an ocean view room and checked one out, but decided against it. They have fairly narrow ocean views, and the balconies have a high white wall instead of a railing, meaning you couldn't see the ocean when sitting down. Legends is a small unassuming resort 50 rooms), so if you're looking for 5 star and glamour this is not for you. We loved it because we felt like it provided us with a genuine, low-key and local Jamaica experience!! Would definitely go back!! Tips: Bring your own beach towels as not provided (or buy towels in the gift shop for $10). Bring a thermos cup for your drinks, otherwise the heat warns them in no time flat! (Or buy one in the gift shop for $10-$20). Good also for bringing coffee back to your room to enjoy on your balcony in the morning!

The staff is amazing! The be s was slightly uncofotable and hard, but overall the resort was great. The food options were ok. There were set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which I didn't care for. They also only serve alcohol between 10am and 10pm which I wasn't personally a fan of either. I've been to another all inclusive resort and i was used to eating and drinking whenever I wanted. Overall I had a great time here and would definitely recommend this resort.

The bar staff made our holiday, if I hadn't of met such friendly people I would of checked out the hotel a lot sooner. Giovanni, Kerrianne and the manager were fantastic!! The hotel security guard Michael was fantastic, he did his job by keeping the guest safe and not hassled by passers by which became very annoying.

The room was nice & spacious with ample storage for clothes. The shower was nice & warm.... Had a balcony which was good for smokers as no smoking in property. The bed was huge & very very comfortable, there were enough pillows for comfort too, which are normally lacking at many hotels. Cleaning staff were polite & accommodating also... Room had air conditioning & a fan so you have a choice of how cool you want it. Choice to join all inclusive meal plan or " pay as you go" Lastly, the safe being in the office is a brilliant idea, very secure & always someone available if you needed to access it. Overall I have no complaints whatsoever & would not hesitate to stay there again, also will recommend to friends & family.
